Protection + Preservation

We choose to dwell in the shelter and protection of the Most High. We will abide in His shadow. He is our refuge and He is who we trust. We choose to live in this protection and preservation with our inmost being kept safe, guarded and shielded from anything formed against us. It is He who loved us first-giving us safety in our original state-before innocence taken. So we claim His truth that we belong to Him. He is our shield and our buckler, in that we will not fear terror or darkness looming. As we hold fast in love to our true Protector and Preserver, in sensitivity we will also protect and preserve our precious covenant and legacy He has set before us. We devote ourselves to this: that we will be safe and satisfied with a long, abundant, faithful, and connected life. He has repaired us and delivered us. So He will restore all things lost and stolen from us. We Cling to His enduring promise of protection and preservation.

I, (Husband), will hold the shield of protection, keeping (Wife) safe from chaos, confusion, and all harm. I refuse to put down that shield. I will protect her with my life, fighting for her inner peace and healing of all security that has been shattered.  I will cover her and preserve her and our legacy in devoted love, honor, nurturing and protection all the days of my life.
